Manages full sets of accounts for Belgium entity including Balance sheet review.
Ensures finance integrity of both internal (HP policy) and external (local legal statutory) planning and reporting.
Ensures compliance of financial statements with US and local GAAP requirements and ensure appropriate business controls are in place for any systems and processes with financial impact
Preparing, planning and filling of local statutory accounts in collaboration with internal and external teams such as audit.
Ensures HP’s assets are safeguarded and accounted for. Maintain timely and transparent disclosure of all contingencies, records management and control deficiencies. In charge of local country compliance council.
Managing tax compliance: projection of corporate tax and VAT with internal Tax teams and external consultants, ensuring proper forecasting and timelines met.
In charge of local ad-hoc payments
Works closely with country team. Build and maintain close, positive working relationships with customers, account teams, peers, support partners, sales organizations and other Global functions
Represents the business unit/department during cross-regional or cross- functional planning processes (local e-invoicing project, Factoring process, …)
Provides complex and occasionally highly complex financial analysis for a financial function or a business, typically exercising a strong understanding of the business to determine the best method for achieving objectives.
Consults with business leaders to guide and influence strategic decision-making within a broad scope.
Identifies opportunities for process improvement and policy development and engages in the design.
May provides mentoring and guidance to other analysts.
