Job Description: Lead Accounts Trainer

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Accounts Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Accountant (CA) Inter with 3-4 years of practical experience and a strong passion for teaching. As a Lead Accounts Trainer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering comprehensive accounting training programs to our staff, ensuring they acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.

Responsibilities:

  1. Training Program Development:
    • Design, develop, and update training programs focused on accounting principles, practices, and software applications.
    • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to identify training needs and create customized learning materials.
    • Ensure training materials are up-to-date with current accounting standards and industry best practices.
  2. Training Delivery:
    • Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions for staff members at various levels of expertise.
    • Utilize a variety of teaching methods and tools to accommodate diverse learning styles and maximize learning outcomes.
    • Provide constructive feedback and support to trainees to facilitate skill development and knowledge retention.
  3. Subject Matter Expertise:
    • Serve as a subject matter expert on accounting principles, financial reporting, taxation, and related topics.
    • Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations, standards, and practices to ensure training content remains relevant and accurate.
  4. Mentorship and Coaching:
    • Mentor and coach junior staff members to enhance their accounting knowledge and professional growth.
    • Offer guidance and support to individuals seeking to pursue professional accounting qualifications.
  5. Assessment and Evaluation:
    • Develop and administer assessments to evaluate trainee comprehension and proficiency.
    • Analyze training effectiveness and make recommendations for program enhancements or modifications as needed.
  6. Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain accurate records of training activities, attendance, and performance evaluations.
    • Prepare reports on training outcomes, including metrics such as completion rates, competency levels, and feedback.

Qualifications:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) Inter qualification is required.
  • 3-4 years of practical accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or professional services environment.
  • Proven track record of passion for teaching and training others.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and taxation.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to effectively engage and motivate learners of diverse backgrounds and skill levels.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and related tools.
  • Previous experience in curriculum development and instructional design is a plus.
