Position Overview

As a Process Delivery Specialist – Lead to Cash at IBM Consulting, you will play a vital role in driving operational excellence within the Lead to Cash (L2C) process. This position focuses on managing accounts receivable, ensuring timely cash application, maintaining financial accuracy, and improving process efficiency across global client engagements.

You’ll be part of IBM BPO, a key division within Consulting, that accelerates digital transformation through AI-powered workflows, process mining, and agile delivery methodologies. Working alongside global experts and clients, you’ll leverage IBM’s hybrid cloud ecosystem to deliver measurable business value and support end-to-end digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Lead to Cash (L2C) operations, including accounts receivable, billing, and cash application activities.

  • Analyze receivable accounts, reconcile transactions, and ensure accurate reporting.

  • Handle customer payment investigations, refunds, and adjustments efficiently.

  • Execute direct debit processes, netting instructions, and Oracle system updates.

  • Monitor unapplied payments, resolve allocation discrepancies, and ensure timely corrections.

  • Collaborate with internal teams (sales, finance, operations) to improve process performance and client satisfaction.

  • Adhere to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and maintain high standards of accuracy and timeliness.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related discipline.

  • 2–4 years of experience in Lead to Cash (L2C) or Order to Cash (O2C) processes.

  • Strong understanding of cash application automation and receivables management.

  • Proven ability to meet operational targets with precision and efficiency.

  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.

  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred).

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel.

  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.

  • Ability to perform effectively under deadlines and adapt to evolving business needs.

  • Self-driven, detail-oriented professional with a focus on continuous improvement.
