Position Overview:
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing the financial operations of the company, ensuring compliance with all statutory and internal financial regulations. The role demands a detail-oriented and analytical professional with excellent communication skills to handle complex financial data, prepare reports, and collaborate with various stakeholders. The candidate will oversee financial reporting, statutory compliance, and accounting processes while ensuring timely and accurate financial operations in alignment with company goals.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the financial aspects of an IT company, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Collaborate with internal departments, auditors, external auditors, and government agencies to provide financial insights.
- Ensure adherence to the internal financial control framework, including accurate and timely general ledger reconciliations, vendor ledger reconciliations, customer ledger reconciliations, cash applications, and receivables and payables aging.
- Prepare financial statements and monthly MIS reports for management.
- Handle general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable accounting, and related reporting.
- Collect, analyze, verify, and report financial information at each month-end close.
- Prepare invoices.
- Manage TDS, GST, EPF, ESI, advance tax, professional tax, LWF, SEZ, and labor compliance.
- Manage expenses, income, receivables, payables, and bank transactions.
Skills:
- Proficiency in maintaining accounts using Tally and QuickBooks.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office and the ability to use advanced Excel functions.
- Practical communication skills, both written and verbal.
Qualifications:
- B.Com / M.Com / Any finance-related course.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience.
