Senior Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, analyze, and distribute financial reports, including variance explanations and forecasting.
• Process and post journal vouchers for complex transactions while ensuring accuracy in financial records.
• Research and resolve complex accounting discrepancies, ensuring compliance with internal controls and company policies.
• Monitor financial transactions for accuracy and adherence to company policies, US GAAP, or country-specific accounting standards.
• Work with multi-functional teams to support financial operations, improve processes, and develop project management skills.

Skills:

• Ability to interpret financial data, analyze variances, and provide insights for decision-making.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems for financial processing.
• Strong ability to identify discrepancies and ensure precise accounting transactions and reconciliations.
• Capable of troubleshooting complex accounting issues and implementing effective solutions.
• Understanding of US GAAP or country-specific accounting principles, tax regulations, and internal controls.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years in accounting, financial reporting, or a related role.
• Experience with financial applications, spreadsheets, and ERP systems.
• Familiarity with business processes, financial controls, and company policies.
• Ability to interpret financial data, provide insights, and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
