Positional Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage, oversee, and optimize financial operations. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for handling day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, and budgeting processes. This position requires strong financial acumen, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and a deep understanding of financial principles.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and forecasts.
  • Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing.
  • Develop and monitor budgets.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to management for strategic decision-making.
  • Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Manage and ensure timely filing of GST returns and compliance.
  • Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations
  • Coordinate and lead internal and external audits meanwhile, Implement and maintain internal control systems.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in preparing and analyzing financial statements, reports, and forecasts to ensure accurate and timely financial closures. This includes the ability to identify financial trends, risks, and opportunities to guide management in decision-making.
  • Expertise in developing, monitoring, and managing budgets while providing strategic financial insights. This skill is essential for aligning financial goals with the overall business strategy, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently.
  • Strong understanding of GST, payroll management, TDS, and ESA compliance, with the ability to manage timely filings and ensure adherence to tax regulations. This skill ensures the company avoids penalties and stays compliant with relevant laws.
  • Ability to coordinate internal and external audits, implement internal control systems, and ensure compliance with auditing standards. This includes identifying financial discrepancies, mitigating risks, and maintaining operational efficiency through proper controls.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • A master’s degree or professional certification.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in finance/accounting.
  • Expertise in GST, payroll processing, TDS, and ESA enrolments.
