Position Overview:
A Senior Accountant is responsible for overseeing financial activities, ensuring compliance with accounting principles, and providing strategic financial insights. They play a key role in managing financial statements, audits, and tax filings while supporting business decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- Generate and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
- Handle receipt and manage outgoing payments to vendors and suppliers, ensuring timely transactions.
- Prepare and post journal entries accurately and promptly to maintain up-to-date financial records.
- Assist in the preparation of finalization entries for month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure that all transactions are accurately reflected in the financial statements.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports for management review.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations and assist in audits as required.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
- Work closely with other departments to support financial operations and resolve discrepancies.

Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, etc.) and MS Excel.
