Positional Overview:

The Tax Manager is a pivotal role at Revolut, responsible for ensuring robust tax compliance and fostering operational efficiency within the finance function in India. This individual will act as a strategic partner across business units, ensuring seamless integration of tax processes and compliance frameworks while supporting Revolut’s continued growth in the fintech sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Establishing a process for tax review and approval of all product launches and expansion globally in Revolut for India
  • Ensuring full compliance in tax matters as a business partner and as a governance function for driving tax compliance and efficiency
  • Working with the business and product leads to implementing operational tax advice such as withholding tax or reporting on payouts
  • Taking ownership of corporate tax compliance for a portfolio of India
  • Supporting tax planning and consulting initiatives, consulting management on the potential impacts and requirements related to direct tax legislation (including OECD initiatives)
  • Implementing and delivering of best in class business-as-usual Tax Reporting Framework (Accruals, True-ups, Balance sheet Reconciliation)

  • Excellent analytical skills and a ‘hands-on’ attitude
  • Well-organized to help plan and deliver to tight deadlines with attention to detail.
  • Highly motivated, focused on delivery
  • Strong knowledge of Indian tax laws, international tax regulations, and OECD initiatives to ensure full compliance and drive tax efficiency as both a business partner and governance function.
  • Proficiency in establishing and delivering robust tax processes, including Tax Reporting Frameworks (e.g., accruals, true-ups, and balance sheet reconciliations), with a focus on accuracy and scalability across global operations.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified tax professional (ACA, CA) degree with 4–7 years of experience in a large, multi-national and complex organization
  • Extensive technical knowledge of direct and indirect taxes and understanding of transfer pricing
  • Experience with indirect taxes (GST and VAT)
  • Previous experience in a fast-moving fintech organisation or a top-tier retail banking, fast-growing international business
