Junior Accountant

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Junior Accountant with experience in India SEZ-related compliance and accounts payable to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in an IT company, strong expertise in Microsoft Excel, and the ability to collaborate with a global team. This role requires a smart, growth-oriented professional who can handle financial operations efficiently while ensuring compliance with SEZ regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure adherence to Special Economic Zone (SEZ) regulations related to financial and tax compliance.
• Prepare and maintain documentation for SEZ-related filings, including Procurement filings, SOFTEX forms, LUT filings, and SEZ monthly/annual reports.
• Verify invoices against purchase orders and resolve any discrepancies.
• Assist in GST compliance and ensure timely input tax credit reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate financial records and assist in month-end closing activities.
• Use Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables,  etc.) for financial analysis and reporting.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, procurement, and global stakeholders.

Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel and accounting tools.
• Excellent communication skills, problem-solving ability, and a growth mindset.
• Experience working with global teams is an added advantage.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in accounting, with exposure to SEZ compliance and accounts payable in an IT company.
