Position Overview
As a Process Associate – Procure to Pay (P2P) with 1–3 years of experience, you will play a vital role in IBM’s Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) division within Consulting. In this position, you will be responsible for transaction processing in Accounts Payable and vendor account management, contributing to clients’ digital transformation journeys powered by AI, process mining, and agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate all accounting activities associated with the Procure to Pay (P2P) process.

Perform invoice processing, matching, and error resolution in Accounts Payable.

Recognize potential process risks and propose effective solutions.

Ensure accuracy, compliance, and adherence to SLAs and timelines.

Manage and reconcile vendor accounts, addressing queries and ensuring timely resolution.

Support process improvement initiatives and contribute to automation and digital workflows.

Collaborate with team members to meet business objectives and service delivery standards.
Skills & Qualifications
Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance)
Preferred Education: Master’s Degree (M.Com / MBA Finance)
Required Technical & Professional Expertise:

Background in Accounts Payable and Procure to Pay (P2P) operations.

Ability to match invoices, identify discrepancies, resolve exceptions, and manage invoice aging.

Sound understanding of basic accounting principles.

Proficient in query handling and follow-up communication.

Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
