Accountant
Duties And Responsibilities
- Perform general ledger accounting activities, including preparing journal entries, managing accruals, reconciling bank and balance accounts, accounting for fixed assets, handling intercompany transactions, and
- reparing financial reports such as Profit & Loss statements and Balance Sheets.
- Ensure strict adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs), quality benchmarks, and compliance with established processes.
- Process transactions with precision, following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), company policies, and generally accepted accounting practices.
- Provide support during internal and external audits by supplying required documentation and clear explanations as needed.
- Demonstrate careful attention to detail when following instructions, proactively identifying discrepancies and seeking guidance from team lead or managers as appropriate.
- Collaborate effectively with stakeholders from other finance functions, such as Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), to ensure seamless financial operations.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within accounting operations.
- Prepare management reports and conduct variance analysis to support financial decision-making.
Knowledge, Skills, And Experience
- Familiarity with ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, and Hyperion Financial Management (HFM).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and consistently meet tight deadlines.

Requirements
- Bachelor of Commerce (B Com) or MBA degree.
- 3 to 6 years of experience in General accounting or Record to Report (R2R) processes.
