Position Overview:
As an Accountant, you will be involved in General Ledger and reporting, and multiple general accounting and reporting activities, along with a range of other financial reconciliation and control tasks as required within the team.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate transactions and records in the GL to ensure financial accuracy.
- Support internal customers and update financial information.
- Complete basic balance sheet reconciliations (e.g., prepaids, cash, A/P) and income statement analysis.
- Handle month/quarter-end tasks, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Produce periodic reports with basic analysis as needed.
- Analyze financial results against budget/forecast.
- Participate in or support special projects.
Skills:
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Quick learner, able to adapt to new systems and processes.
- Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent MS Office skills, especially Excel (v-lookup, pivot tables).
- Numerate with accounting knowledge and experience in supply chain management accounting (preferably in the electronics industry).
- Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous
Qualifications:
- MBA, BBA, or BCom degree required, preferably in accounting, finance, or business-related fields.
- Strong foundation in financial principles, business management, and analytical skills.
- Relevant coursework or experience in accounting, finance, or supply chain is an advantage.
