Position Overview:

As an Accountant, you will be involved in General Ledger and reporting, and multiple general accounting and reporting activities, along with a range of other financial reconciliation and control tasks as required within the team.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate transactions and records in the GL to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Support internal customers and update financial information.
  • Complete basic balance sheet reconciliations (e.g., prepaids, cash, A/P) and income statement analysis.
  • Handle month/quarter-end tasks, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Produce periodic reports with basic analysis as needed.
  • Analyze financial results against budget/forecast.
  • Participate in or support special projects.

Skills:

  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Quick learner, able to adapt to new systems and processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent MS Office skills, especially Excel (v-lookup, pivot tables).
  • Numerate with accounting knowledge and experience in supply chain management accounting (preferably in the electronics industry).
  • Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous

Qualifications:

  • MBA, BBA, or BCom degree required, preferably in accounting, finance, or business-related fields.
  • Strong foundation in financial principles, business management, and analytical skills.
  • Relevant coursework or experience in accounting, finance, or supply chain is an advantage.
