Positional Overview:

We’re seeking an experienced Accountant to lead our general accounting operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily accounting operations and general ledger activities

  • Prepare and maintain financial statements in compliance with applicable standards

  • Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and other general ledger accounts

  • Conduct month-end and year-end closing processes

  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of all financial data

  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

  • Prepare documentation for internal and external audits

  • Monitor internal controls and compliance with financial policies and regulations

  • Support management with financial analysis, cost tracking, and decision-making reports

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial integrity and efficiency

Skills:

  • Solid understanding of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS)

  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, Zoho Books, or ERP systems)

  • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, financial modeling, etc.)

  • High attention to detail and accuracy

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills

  • Ability to analyze data and prepare clear financial reports

  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities

  • Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s or CPA preferred)

  • Minimum of 2–3 years of hands-on accounting experience

  • Experience with financial reporting and general ledger functions

  • Prior involvement in audit preparation or coordination is a plus
