Requirements:
- Vocational training, certifications, licensures, or equivalent experience in accounting or finance.
- Ability to expand skills within analytical or operational processes.
- Maintain appropriate licenses, training, and certifications relevant to the role.
- Work with a moderate degree of supervision and guidance.
- Effective exchange of information and ideas within the team.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in examining and preparing statutory accounts, financial statements, and reports.
- Experience maintaining accounting and financial records, including general ledger and management reports.
- Ability to conduct extensive research on the impact of changes to accounting rules on financial statements.
- Experience developing and implementing processes to comply with changing accounting standards.
- Skilled in preparing and verifying accounts payable/receivable transactions and responding to vendor inquiries.
- Ability to analyze capital budget requests and produce expense analyses for cost-saving opportunities.
- Experience in producing progress reports and presentations for management and stakeholders.
- Knowledge in disbursing payroll checks, payroll taxes, and employee benefit payments.
- Capable of evaluating current systems to recommend efficiency improvements.
- Familiar with ensuring reports and disclosures comply with applicable regulations and organizational policies.
