Position Overview:

The Accounts Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of an organization, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of accounting processes and financial reporting. This role involves managing a team, maintaining compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and providing strategic insights to support business objectives. The Accounts Manager acts as a key liaison between the finance department and other stakeholders, ensuring efficient financial management and decision-making.

Responsibilities:

  •  Approve payments and oversee day-to-day financial operations with high quality and precision.
  •  Monitor and maintain accurate accounts and ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  •  Manage cash flow, budgets, and financial forecasts effectively.
  •  Prepare and analyze financial reports to support management decision-making.
  •  Coordinate with auditors, vendors, and other stakeholders as required.

Skills:

  • Proficient in managing the full spectrum of accounting functions, including financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Strong ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals to achieve departmental and organizational goals.
  • Adept at analyzing financial data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Ensures precision in financial records, reconciliations, and reporting, minimizing errors and maintaining compliance.
  • Skilled in using accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, or Oracle) and advanced proficiency in Excel for financial analysis and reporting.

Qualifications:

  • CA Inter (Candidates should not be pursuing the course anymore)
  • 5–10 years of relevant experience in accounting and financial management
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial management, and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in Tally accounting software and MS Office applications.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Prior experience in managing accounts in the construction or MEP contracting sector is a plus.
