Position Overview
The Analyst will be responsible for supporting various functions within the trade lifecycle and capital markets operations, ensuring timely execution, accuracy, and compliance with operational standards. The role demands strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced financial environment.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and escalate operational risks and promptly report outstanding issues to clients.

Perform trade support activities across the Trade Lifecycle, including trade confirmation matching, pre-settlement support, reconciliation of trade positions, report generation, and settlement of cash flows from trading events (e.g., Interest or Premium).

Handle operations related to Syndicated Loans and Corporate Action setup and execution.

Manage other capital market operational tasks such as Reference Data support and Regulatory Reporting (e.g., Swaps Data Repository, KYC, front-office and back-office reconciliations).

Learn and develop expertise across various financial products, including Equity Securities, Derivatives, Interest Rate Swaps, FX Spot, Options, Futures, Credit Derivatives Swaps, Commodities Derivatives, and Fixed Income products (Corporate and Treasury Bonds).

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality outputs within defined timelines.

Proactively identify opportunities for improvement and take ownership of responsibilities beyond assigned tasks.
Skills & Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s Degree (B.Com, BBA, BBM, BCA) or Master’s Degree (M.Com, MBA, PGDM).

Experience: 0 to 2 years in investment banking operations involving projects, people, process, or client management.

Foundational understanding of finance, trade lifecycle, investment banking, and derivatives.

Strong logical, analytical, and quantitative skills for data-driven decision-making.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for effective stakeholder management.

Strong planning, organization, and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.

Proficiency in MS Excel and other analytical tools is preferred.
