AR/AP Accountant

Position Overview

AR/AP Accountant at Kwalee plays a vital role in managing the company’s accounts receivable and accounts payable functions, ensuring accurate financial records and smooth payment processes. You will be responsible for maintaining invoices, reconciling accounts, and supporting monthly reporting activities. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with the Finance Manager, commercial teams, and operations, contributing to the commercial success of Kwalee’s diverse gaming portfolio in the casual, hybrid casual, PC, and console gaming space.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately enter sales and purchase invoices into accounting systems.

• Manage daily and monthly bank reconciliations and prepare bank payment runs.

• Maintain fixed asset registers, calculate accruals and prepayments, and assist with balance sheet reconciliations.

• Assist in preparing monthly management accounts and VAT returns.

• Support preparation of monthly and quarterly royalty statements.

• Track and manage employee expense claims.

• Communicate with suppliers and customers to resolve payment issues or escalate them as needed.

• Provide assistance with monthly and quarterly financial reporting.

Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar finance role, ideally within a UK/European company.

• Full or part-qualified in ICAI, B.Com/M.Com, AAT, ACCA, ACA, CIMA or a finance-related degree.

• Proficient in spreadsheets with knowledge of advanced formulas like VLOOKUP and SUMIF.

• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
