Position Overview:
The Assistant Manager – Finance & Accounts supports the financial operations of the organization by overseeing daily accounting tasks, managing financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This role involves budget planning, cash flow management, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders to maintain the organization’s financial health. The position also requires analyzing financial data to support decision-making and assisting in audits and process improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Statutory compliance (GST, Income Tax, ESI/EPF etc)
- IRDAI Compliance
- Salary/Payroll processing
- Cash flow control
- Assist in Internal & Statutory Audit
- Finalisation of books of accounts
- Overseeing Invoice Cycle
- Receivable/Payable Management
- Closing of Books of accounts (Weekly/Monthly)
- Expense/Payment Processing
- Bank/GL Reconciliation
- Daily/Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly reports & updates
Skills:
- Proficient in Tally
- Proficient in Excel and other MS Office suits
- GST, Income Tax, ESI/EPF
Qualifications:
- Graduation (Commerce background) or equivalent
- CA Inter (Preferred)
- Experience: 3-5 years in relevant field
