Position Overview:
The Assistant Manager is responsible for overseeing financial transactions, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting senior management in financial decision-making. This role involves managing daily accounting operations, preparing financial reports, and assisting with audits and tax filings.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all financial transactions adhere to company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to deadlines.
- Follow established accounting processes while identifying and addressing deviations where necessary.
- Effectively communicate financial issues and queries to senior management, both verbally and in writing.
- Prepare and review financial reports, perform bank reconciliations, and manage accounts payable/receivable.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting to maintain accurate financial records.

Expertise in using formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools to process and interpret financial data efficiently.

Ability to supervise, mentor, and coordinate a team while ensuring compliance with accounting processes and deadlines.
Qualifications:
- College graduate in Economics, Accounting, or Finance.
- Minimum of 3 years in Finance and Accounting.
- B.Com qualification needed.
