Responsibilities:-

 

  • Intake / OTB management – Monitor inventory situation & plan inwards based on the DOH plan & plan timely RTVs.
  • Selection – making season-level buy plans/assortment plans based on past performance & growth/revenue targets to ensure that the category is well represented.
  • Review style level performance based on metrics such as ROS, Sell thru, RPI, and RGM.
  • Category visibility planning & interventions – planning banners for respective brands and raising
    banner requests on time.
  • Identify gaps in product offerings & subsequently introduce / on-board new brands/categories.
  • Managing pricing (SOR / OR) – follow up with brands on securing timely discounts and updating the
    same, and control pricing internally as per planned GM / RGM. Working closely on OR discounting based
    on profitability requirements.
  • Be an effective bridge between brands & internal teams for all communications.
  • Operational excellence: Should have prior experience or enough knowledge & confidence to
  • manage merchandising operations, inbound planning, cataloging & discount monitoring.
     

Skills:

  • Business management from a reputed B school.
  • The ideal candidate should have experience of 2-4 years and can independently handle
    a group of categories. The candidate needs to have a relevant experience in the apparel business.
  • Hands on experience with analyzing data and making forecasts.
  • Analytical and critical thinker.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
