Responsibilities:-
- Intake / OTB management – Monitor inventory situation & plan inwards based on the DOH plan & plan timely RTVs.
- Selection – making season-level buy plans/assortment plans based on past performance & growth/revenue targets to ensure that the category is well represented.
- Review style level performance based on metrics such as ROS, Sell thru, RPI, and RGM.
- Category visibility planning & interventions – planning banners for respective brands and raising
banner requests on time. - Identify gaps in product offerings & subsequently introduce / on-board new brands/categories.
- Managing pricing (SOR / OR) – follow up with brands on securing timely discounts and updating the
same, and control pricing internally as per planned GM / RGM. Working closely on OR discounting based
on profitability requirements. - Be an effective bridge between brands & internal teams for all communications.
- Operational excellence: Should have prior experience or enough knowledge & confidence to
- manage merchandising operations, inbound planning, cataloging & discount monitoring.
Skills:
- Business management from a reputed B school.
- The ideal candidate should have experience of 2-4 years and can independently handle
a group of categories. The candidate needs to have a relevant experience in the apparel business. - Hands on experience with analyzing data and making forecasts.
