Chief Accountant

Positional Overview:

The Chief Accountant is responsible for overseeing the organization’s accounting operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and delivering accurate financial reporting. This leadership role involves managing a team of accounting professionals, driving process improvements, and supporting strategic financial planning.

Responsibilities:

• Manage Accounting projects independently, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Expertise in QuickBooks accounting software is a must.
• Handle day-to-day accounting operations, including reconciliations, payroll, and tax filings.
• Collaborate effectively with the U.S.-based team and manage client communication.
• Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards.
• Lead and support a small team, fostering a productive and collaborative environment.

Skills:

• Strong English communication skills (both written and spoken) are essential.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset and the ability to work independently.
• Team player with leadership qualities to guide and support the accounting team.

Qualifications:

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in accounting, with significant exposure to QuickBooks.
