Cost Accountant

Position Overview:

A Cost Accountant plays a vital role in managing and analyzing an organization’s financial performance by focusing on cost management and efficiency. This position involves evaluating production costs, preparing reports, and ensuring that the company optimizes its resources.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and implement accounting projects and ensure adherence to SOP audits.
• Analyze financial data and prepare accurate reports and presentations.
• Monitor and ensure timely submission of taxes, reports, and period-end functions.
• Maintain a strong control environment to safeguard assets and document profits/losses.
• Lead and motivate accounting teams, ensuring productivity and task delegation.
• Conduct employee training, performance appraisals, and adherence to HR policies.

• Proficiency in accounting systems, financial reporting, and tax compliance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for evaluating financial data and resolving discrepancies.

Qualifications:

• 4-year bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting or related major.
• No work experience is required.
