Responsibilities:

  • Financial Data Entry: Accurately input financial data into accounting software or spreadsheets, including invoices, receipts, and other financial records.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable: Assist in processing invoices, payments, and accounts receivable transactions. Ensure bills and invoices are paid on time and in compliance with company policies.
  • Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts to verify accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
  • Expense Reports: Review and process employee expense reports, verifying receipts and compliance with company policies.
  • Financial Reporting: Generate financial reports and statements as required, such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation in physical and electronic formats.
  • Vendor and Client Communication: Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal stakeholders regarding financial matters, including payment inquiries and discrepancies.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct fundamental financial analysis and research to support decision-making processes.
  • Taxation: Assist with tax-related activities, including preparing tax returns and ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  • Ad Hoc Tasks: Perform ad hoc financial and administrative tasks as the finance department requires.

 

What are we looking for?

  • A Finance professional with 1-3 years of experience in the field of Finance and Accounting
  • Educational Qualification – B’Com / M’Com
  • Sound knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Hands-on experience with Quick Books, Zoho Books, Tally
  • Highly analytical and number-oriented, as well as a detail-oriented approach to problem-solving
  • Expert working knowledge of Excel spreadsheets
  • An analytical mind with an ability to engage and interact with employees at different levels and across different company functions and exercise sound judgment.
  • Ability to work in a diverse and cross-functional environment.
  • Good communication skills
  • A candidate is expected to work from the office full-time (5 Days a week)
