Positional Overview:

A Finance Associate supports the financial operations of a company by handling accounting tasks, analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with regulations. They play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with budgeting, and contributing to financial planning.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor receivables, prepare aging reports, and ensure timely collections.
  • Reconcile customer accounts, resolve discrepancies, and coordinate with sales and billing teams.
  • Ensure accurate invoicing, aligning with contracts, project milestones, and GST regulations.
  • Process payroll with accurate salary, tax, and benefit calculations.
  • Prepare and file GST returns, ensuring timely submission.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including aging reports, payroll summaries, and compliance statuses.
  • Work with HR, Sales, and Operations teams to ensure smooth financial processes.

Skills:

  • Ability to interpret financial data, create reports, and support budgeting and forecasting decisions.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, including accounts receivable, payroll processing, and tax compliance (GST, PF, ESI, PT).
  • Outstanding analytical and time management skills, and attention to detail.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications:

  • Immediate joiners preferred.
  • Graduate degree in finance.
  • A degree in business administration, economics, finance, accounting or other related specialisation.
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, and financial software applications.
  • Work Experience: Fresher
