Positional Overview:

The Finance Executive plays a crucial role in managing financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting strategic decision-making. This position involves handling financial reporting, tax compliance, budgeting, and treasury functions while working closely with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation and filing of monthly GST Returns (GSTR1, GSTR 3B) for all States

  • Preparation of GST Annual Return (GSTR 9 & 9C)

  • Handling GST and VAT Assessments

  • Co-ordinating with Advocates for Court Cases pertaining Indirect Tax.

  • Reconciliation

  • E-way Bill Reconciliation

  • IRN Reconciliation

  • Review of Place of Business

  • Processing of Manual Invoices and Delivery Challan

  • Preparation of Report Back on assessments and case status.

  • Support Sales & Logistics in case of any GST issues at the time of invoicing

Skills:

  • Expertise in preparing and filing GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, GSTR-9C) and handling VAT assessments.
  • Strong ability to perform E-way bill reconciliation, IRN reconciliation, and ensure tax compliance accuracy.
  • Experience in managing GST-related court cases, liaising with advocates, and handling tax assessments.
  • Ability to assist sales and logistics teams with GST-related invoicing issues and ensure smooth tax operations.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce (B.Com / M.Com).

  • 3+ years of work experience.

  • Hands-on experience in filing GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and annual returns (GSTR-9, GSTR-9C).

  • Proven experience in independently managing GST assessments and resolving tax-related issues.

  • Prior experience working in an FMCG, Auto, or Manufacturing company with a turnover of ₹1000 crore+.
