Finance Manager

Positional Overview:

The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the organization’s financial health by managing financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and compliance. This role involves analyzing financial data, optimizing financial strategies, ensuring regulatory compliance, and leading the accounting team. The Finance Manager is critical in decision-making, cost control, and improving economic performance.

Responsibilities:

• Manage general ledger maintenance, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations, ensuring timely and accurate financial transactions.
• Prepare financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements) and ensure compliance with GST, income tax, and the Companies Act.
• Monitor cash flow, optimize cash management, and implement internal control measures to mitigate financial risks and prevent fraud.
• Led and mentored a team of finance professionals while overseeing ERP system implementation for efficient reporting and data management.

Skills:

• Strong analytical skills to create financial forecasts, track performance, and support strategic decision-making.
• In-depth understanding of tax regulations, accounting standards, and statutory compliance (e.g., GST, Companies Act).
• Proven ability to lead and develop a high-performing finance team, promoting accountability and growth.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Zoho, SAP, QuickBooks, or similar) for enhanced financial reporting and process automation.

Qualifications:

• Qualification: CA Inter/M Com
• Experience: 3-5 years
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
