Position Overview:

Financial Analyst, RCBP plays a critical role in analyzing financial data and managing the reimbursement and billing processes for contracts within an organization. This position typically works closely with finance, accounting, and contract management teams to ensure proper financial oversight of billing and contract-related activities, with a focus on compliance, accuracy, and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of the month-end close process, including verifying financial data and reconciling accounts.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and statements for management review, ensuring compliance with company policies and standards.
  • Prepare financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement) in accordance with IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) and ensure proper presentation and disclosure.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to gather the necessary data for accurate and comprehensive reporting.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of financial statements and reports, analyzing variances and trends, and providing insights to management on financial performance.
  • Identify potential risks or discrepancies and work with relevant departments to resolve them in a timely manner.
  • Apply working-level knowledge of IFRS to ensure proper accounting treatment and reporting for various transactions.
  • Maintain a basic understanding of US GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and apply its principles where applicable.

Skills:

  • Ability to prepare and analyze financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and proper disclosure in line with IFRS standards.
  • Proficiency in IFRS with a solid understanding of key concepts and principles.
  • Strong attention to detail when preparing financial statements and reconciling accounts, ensuring all financial data is accurate and compliant with accounting standards.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams, management, and external auditors.

Qualifications:

  • Chartered accountant qualifications required.
  • Intern or working experience with Big4 audit firms.
  • 1-3 years of work experience.
