Position Overview

Hyatt Centric Jumeirah Dubai is seeking a highly detail-oriented and meticulous Income/Cost Auditor to join our Finance team. This role is key to ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, specifically focusing on auditing income and cost transactions. The selected candidate will be responsible for verifying compliance with company policies, identifying areas for financial reporting improvement, and supporting informed decision-making through accurate audit practices.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular audits of income and cost transactions across all departments (e.g., Food & Beverage, Rooms, Operations).

  • Review daily revenue reports and verify that income is accurately recorded.

  • Audit cost control records, inventory reports, and expenses to ensure alignment with budgets.

  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, UAE financial regulations, and hospitality industry standards.

  • Assist in the preparation and accuracy of financial statements related to income and cost entries.

  • Identify and investigate financial discrepancies, and recommend corrective actions.

  • Prepare detailed audit reports highlighting findings, risks, and suggestions for process improvement.

  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.

  • Collaborate with department heads to resolve discrepancies and improve reporting processes.

  • Assist internal and external audits by providing required documentation and clear explanations.

Skills Required

  • Strong understanding of income and cost auditing practices

  • Advanced analytical and attention-to-detail skills

  • Excellent command of Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools

  • Familiarity with Opera, SUN Systems, or other financial systems used in hospitality

  • Effective communication and collaboration skills

  • High integrity and discretion when handling confidential information

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

  • Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in finance or auditing

  • Hospitality industry experience preferred

  • Knowledge of UAE accounting regulations and compliance requirements

  • Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus)
