Junior Accountant

Perleybrook Labs is looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support daily accounting operations, reconciliations, and basic GST/TDS compliance activities.

Position: Junior Accountant

Location: Kochi, Kerala

Experience: 1–2 Years

Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting entries and ledger maintenance.
• Perform bank reconciliation and vendor ledger reconciliation.
• Assist with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) follow-ups.
• Record invoices, payments, and employee expenses.
• Assist with GST reconciliation, TDS compliance, and monthly closing.
• Verify invoices and maintain supporting documents.
• Coordinate with internal teams and vendors for pending documents.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or Accounting.
• 1–2 years of accounting experience.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles, GST, and TDS.
• Working knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software.
• Good analytical skills, attention to detail, and time management.

• Timely identification and reporting of reconciliation differences.
• Regular follow-up on pending invoices, expenses, and supporting documents.
