Position Overview
As a Process Associate – Procure to Pay (P2P), you will play a key role in IBM’s Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) division within Consulting. In this role, you’ll manage vendor accounts, ensure accurate and timely invoice processing, and support clients’ financial operations using agile methodologies, process mining, and AI-powered workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate all accounting activities associated with the Procure to Pay (P2P) process.

Process and validate invoices, match them with purchase orders, and resolve exceptions efficiently.

Ensure adherence to SLAs, compliance, and internal control standards.

Recognize potential risks and recommend effective mitigation actions.

Manage vendor accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of issues.

Handle queries related to payments and maintain strong communication with stakeholders.

Support the accounting team in meeting process improvement and automation goals.
Skills & Qualifications
Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance)
Preferred Education: Master’s Degree (M.Com / MBA Finance)
1–3 years of experience in Accounts Payable / Procure to Pay.
Required Technical & Professional Expertise:

Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable and Procure to Pay processes.

Ability to match invoices, identify discrepancies, and manage invoice aging.

Basic understanding of accounting principles and reporting.

Proficiency in handling vendor queries and executing follow-ups effectively.
Preferred Technical & Professional Experience:

Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Self-motivated with the ability to meet deadlines and targets.
