Senior Manager

Position Overview:

We are looking for a Senior Manager of Technical Accounting to join our controllership team. In this role, you will investigate complex accounting issues, drive process improvements, and play a critical part in developing new accounting policies while supporting our financial reporting processes.

Responsibilities:

•  Establish and document new accounting policies, ensuring cross-functional implementation.
•  Design and implement processes in consolidation and financial reporting.
•  Conduct technical research and document conclusions for complex accounting transactions.
•  Prepare consolidated annual financial statements under US GAAP standards and associated disclosures.
•  Liaise with external auditors on key accounting matters and support accounting and finance teams during audits.
•  Lead special projects and address reporting and general accounting issues.
•  Provide training and guidance to finance and accounting staff on technical accounting matters.

Skills:

• Demonstrated ability to manage technical accounting functions and lead process improvements.
•  Proven experience conducting in-depth technical research and presenting findings clearly.
•  Strong communication skills to articulate technical concepts to various stakeholders.
•  Experience in leading cross-functional teams in implementing accounting policies.
•  A proactive approach to problem-solving and project management.

Qualifications:

• University Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
•  Chartered Accountant, Certified Public Accountant or equivalent certification required.
•  8+ years of progressive experience in Big4 public accounting and/or large public companies, ideally in the technology sector.
•  Familiarity with SOX and SEC reporting is a plus.
• Experience in technical accounting and financial accounting, reporting
