Positional Overview:
The Staff Accountant is responsible for performing various accounting duties, including preparing financial reports, reconciling accounts, processing transactions, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and contributing to the accuracy and integrity of the company’s financial statements. The position typically requires an in-depth understanding of accounting principles and strong problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
- You will manage end-to-end day today accounting for all the India entities.
- You will prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for all the India entities.
- You will ensure compliance with tax laws (GST, TDS, Income Tax) and international tax laws for all the India entities
- You will oversee Invoices, PR, PO, Payments, and Accounting.
- You will assist with audit preparation and financial reporting in accordance with IFRS standards.
- You will reconcile intercompany transactions and manage financial reporting.
- You will liaise with external auditors and consultants on tax and compliance matters.
Skills:
- Analytical skills for financial reporting and problem-solving.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with financial modeling.
- Knowledge of tax planning and compliance.
- Keen to learn and committed to being a long-term contributor.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications:
- Must be a Chartered Accountant.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting roles, particularly within IT or software companies.
- Expertise in GST, TDS, Income Tax, transfer pricing, and handling financial statements in line with Indian regulations and IFRS.
- Experience in using Oracle accounting software.
