Responsibilities:

  • Understanding of the buy-side and sell-side M&A process, including key steps, timelines, documents etc.
  • Building and creating detailed business plans and financial models for M&A, divestiture, and other corporate transactions cases
  • Applying Transaction and Corporate Finance expertise when contributing to product/tool development and deployment, taking different client contexts into account
  • Working collaboratively and effectively in a group dynamic often virtual, proficient in agile ways of working
  • Communicating with senior stakeholders, in a credible, structured, and confident way
  • Framing, structuring, and sharing intellectual property, with the ability to write clearly and concisely.
  • Working creatively and analytically in a time-limited, problem-solving environment
  • Flexibility and bring a curious and creative mindset, open for new things and able to propose innovative ideas.
  • Ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity.

 

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 1+ years of consulting experience in relevant topics (Transactions/M&A, Corporate Finance, Integrations/PMI, Business Separations/Carve-outs, or similar topics) required; candidates with consulting experience strongly preferred.
  • In lieu of consulting experience, 2+ years minimum industry experience required.
  • Strong business acumen and problem-solving capabilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholder while working in a global collaborative team environment
  • Knowledge and experience of new age financial modeling tools (e.g. Anaplan) and advanced excel tools (e.g. Power Pivot) are beneficiary
  • Fluency in English; Other languages (e.g. Arabic) are beneficiary
