Accountant

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Accountant with 5 to 6 years of experience in the service industry, currently available in Dubai and ready to join immediately.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and manage company profiles in QuickBooks.

• Design and maintain an accurate Chart of Accounts (COA).

• Record day-to-day financial transactions and ensure all entries are up to date.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual Profit & Loss statements and Balance Sheets.

• Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and periodic financial reports.

• Ensure compliance with VAT regulations and assist in filing returns.

• Reconcile bank statements and manage accounts payable/receivable.

• Support in internal audits and maintain organized records for compliance.

• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline financial processes.

• Report directly to senior management with timely financial insights.

Skills:

• Advanced QuickBooks proficiency (setup, entries, reporting, financials).

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

• Solid understanding of VAT regulations and compliance in the UAE.

• Proficient in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

• Excellent skills in MS Excel (pivot tables, formulas, reporting tools).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) are a plus.

• 5–6 years of relevant experience in the service industry.
