Accountant

Positional Overview:

As an Accountant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the success of the Finance team. You will work closely with various teams and HQ in ensuring the completion and accuracy of all financial reporting while being in compliance with the local tax/audit regulatory. Your deliverables to the finance department will contribute to the smooth and efficient running of the business.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and post journal entries (A/P, A/R, FA)
• Assist the team in preparation of the financial reporting package
• Assist the team in implementing strong processes, systems, and procedures to drive efficiencies and high-quality financial reporting.
• Maintain financial security by adhering to internal controls, accounting standards, and tax requirements
• Update and maintenance of AP module and vendor information
• Assist team in closure of monthly books
• Assist team in tax compliances
• To support the accounting of new entities
• Perform other related ad-hoc duties as assigned

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable (A/P), Accounts Receivable (A/R), and Fixed Assets (FA) journal entries.
• Understanding of tax compliance, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with financial systems and AP module management.
• Positive and result-driven, good sense of logic and analytical thinking
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and good command in English, both written and oral
• Proficient in Oracle (EBS, Hyperion)
• Flexible and bright personality, open to commit in a dynamic environment

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s/ Masters degree in accounting or CA intermediate or equivalent
• 1-4 years of working experience in accounting related field, Big 4 accounting firm experience preferred but not a must
• Strong people management, interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work well with people across different cultures\
