Job Overview

IIQAF Group is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant in Dubai to manage financial records, reporting, and accounting operations within our hospitality division. The ideal candidate will have experience in financial accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, bank reconciliation, budgeting, VAT compliance, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records, journals, and general ledger accounts
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports
• Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
• Process invoices, payments, receipts, and expense reports
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Prepare and submit VAT returns in compliance with UAE regulations
• Support internal and external audits by maintaining complete financial documentation
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and financial controls
• Collaborate with operations, procurement, and management teams on financial matters

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field
• Experience in the hospitality, hotel, restaurant, or tourism industry is preferred
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, VAT, bookkeeping, and reconciliation
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, Zoho Books, or ERP systems
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• UAE accounting experience is an advantage
