Job summary

· The Financial Analyst responsibilities include performing month end closing activities including pre reconciliations and journal posting, preparation of monthly reconciliations for VAT GL account balances globally and perform monthly balance sheet analysis.

· This position will support the leadership team in conducting Dive deep into complex reconciling scenarios for reconciliations, coordinate with relevant stakeholders and upstream processes to identify root cause and long term fix.

This role is required to support complex reconciliation projects across geographies, participate in various automation and company wide initiatives.

The incumbent needs expert understanding of indirect taxes, understand the flow and impact of transactions.

The role also requires regular interactions with stakeholders both verbal and written across multiple geographies.

On the audit front, Financial analyst will manage department’s response to internal and external audit requirements and will also ensure compliance with Sox requirements for all geographies/activities handled by Shared Services.

This position will also play an important role in promoting systems/process development within department to ensure ongoing efficiency and control improvements.

Key job responsibilities
Financial Analyst I primary responsibility is to perform VAT account reconciliations for APAC and EU geographies. Collaborate with in-country VAT compliance team to identify variances and identify long term solutions.

Financial Analyst also have to participate in Organization wide initiatives and projects and represent VAT team.

Financial Analyst have to identify process and automation opportunities to simplify the processes and automate manual efforts. In addition Financial Analyst 1 have to perform Risk assessment of current processes and implement controls.
