Finance Controlling Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Support reporting of financial results for (corporate reporting) an entity or cluster of smaller entities, with commentary including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow for its accuracy and completeness.
• Support all aspects of the financial month end review process, reporting requirements, facilitating month end meetings, maintaining risk register & coordinating with all external stakeholders.
• Perform variance analysis for P&L (e.g. Operating expenses, Margins and Profitability etc.) and Balance Sheet, review financial information against historical run rates and future growth plans.
• Participate & contribute into business reviews meetings as appropriate.
• Ensure business complies with all aspects of the internal / external financial control environment.
• Support and is responsible for the inputs to the external and internal financial audits.
• Support of planning activities Plan, Forecast process, Data collection, consolidation, data upload. Work closely with business.
• Prepare management reports on monthly basis (Demand Review Meeting, Monthly Performance Reviews and Core Commercial Cycles), variance analysis, risk & opportunities for management to review and drive business performance/gap closing initiatives and be the single point of contact for management reporting for that market.
• Prepare ad-hoc reporting requests from in-market finance teams or Regional Controller.

Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these characteristics to achieve our goals:

• Accounting degree / qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• 5+ years of post-qualification experience or post degree
• Experience in Financial Reporting, Planning, Finance controlling or Audit Firm
• Practical experience with IFRS
• Experience of working in a Control / SOX environment
• Previous experience of SAP preferred
• Developed analytical skills
• Strong communication and organization skills
• Outside of the box thinking and problem-solving skills
