Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Officer – Operations Accounts to support factory-based finance processes and ensure accurate financial transactions in alignment with internal SOPs. The ideal candidate will play a key role in cost control, operational accounting, SAP-based transactions, reporting, and coordination with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute finance transactions aligned with standard operating procedures (SOPs) for factory operations.

  • Create SKU master data and maintain cost information in SAP.

  • Validate invoices against rate master entries and resolve discrepancies in coordination with stakeholders.

  • Review production order aging and assist in closing tasks (TECO) based on operational recommendations.

  • Review conversion GRN charges pending MIRO and ensure timely closure.

  • Validate purchase orders before release to ensure accuracy and compliance.

  • Prepare MIS reports and support the finance team with planning activities and quarterly audit schedules.

  • Generate reports related to cost analysis including Cost per Kg and RM consumption comparison (Actual vs. Standard).

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce (B.Com / M.Com).

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in costing or operations accounting within a factory setup.

  • Experience in industries such as FMCG, Durables, Auto, Paints, Fertilizer, or similar manufacturing environments preferred.

  • Strong proficiency in SAP (mandatory).

  • Strong analytical and numerical aptitude.

  • Ability to interpret and validate costing data.

  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced operational environment.
