Finance Coordinator

Positional Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Coordinator to support the day-to-day financial activities of our client in the automotive sector. The ideal candidate will handle a wide range of finance functions, including transaction processing, reporting, compliance, and system administration.

Responsibilities:

• Handle day-to-day finance operations such as receivables, payables, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Monitor remittances, manage invoice flow, and ensure adherence to internal financial controls and procedures.
• Prepare financial reports and budgets, and support cash flow tracking and tax documentation.
• Manage interactions with banks, including handling LCs, and maintain accurate vendor and customer account records.
• Support audits, manage fixed assets, and comply with local reporting requirements.
• Administer finance systems like SAP and Concur, including credit card expense tools.
• Contribute to financial planning activities, including business budgets, variance assessments, and cost tracking.
• Work closely with teams and partners to ensure financial accuracy and process compliance.
• Maintain proper documentation and continuously seek improvements in financial procedures.
• Take on ad hoc finance-related tasks as required.

Skills:

• Capable of handling multiple tasks and meeting tight deadlines.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills for cross-team coordination.
• Prior experience using ERP systems such as SAP is preferred.
• Exposure to platforms like SAP Concur or online banking systems is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Excel with the ability to analyze and report financial data.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in finance, accounting, or treasury-related roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Familiarity with IFRS standards and local compliance regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and an analytical mindset.
• Proactive with solid foundational knowledge of accounting practices.
