Position Overview

We are seeking a Finance Operations Associate to join our dynamic Finance team in Bengaluru. This role is ideal for a proactive professional with strong analytical abilities and a passion for financial operations in the lending sector. You will be responsible for managing daily finance operations, ensuring process accuracy, and supporting business decisions through data-driven insights.

The position demands attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to collaborate across departments to enhance financial efficiency and control.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Operations

  • Manage day-to-day finance operations ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.

  • Take initiatives to streamline processes, enhance operational effectiveness, and reduce manual interventions.

  • Oversee settlement processes, personal loan transactions, and handle customer queries related to financial details.

  • Manage reconciliation of bank accounts, payment gateways, and Loan Management Systems (LMS).

Problem Solving and Analysis

  • Apply strong analytical skills to identify trends, evaluate financial data, and solve complex operational challenges.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement effective financial solutions.

  • Prepare and maintain MIS data and monthly reports for management review.

Passion for Lending

  • Demonstrate a genuine interest in the lending and fintech ecosystem.

  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and operational best practices.

  • Ensure all finance operations align with Refyne’s strategic goals and customer-first approach.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field. MBA or professional certification (CA Inter, CMA, etc.) is a plus.

  • Experience: 2–4 years of progressive experience in finance operations, preferably in lending or fintech.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Hands-on experience with settlement processes, payment gateways, and reconciliation systems.

    • Proficiency in financial reporting tools, Excel, and MIS preparation.

  • Core Competencies:

    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Ability to manage multiple clients, merchants, and stakeholders efficiently.

    • Adaptable, detail-oriented, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
