Position Overview
Honeywell is seeking an experienced Finance Operations Analyst – Banking & Cash Management to manage banking operations, cash services, and financial processes across multiple business units. The role focuses on ensuring timely and accurate delivery of banking activities, reconciling accounts, supporting SAP systems, and providing financial analysis and reporting.
This position is ideal for candidates with strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills, capable of driving process improvements and ensuring compliance with GAAP, Honeywell accounting policies, and internal controls.
Key Responsibilities

Manage operations for banking activities, including cash pooling, country-specific banking requirements, cash funding, and demand drafts.

Ensure foreign transactions, translations, and hedges are recorded accurately.

Resolve queries and transactions promptly to prevent aging of the GL.

Deliver bank reconciliations on time, with high quality and no unexplained items.

Provide financial reports, analysis, and advice based on GAAP knowledge and SAP system data.

Initiate and review GL entries and resolve any discrepancies.

Handle T&E postings and reconciliation, collaborating with the T&E team to address issues and ensure accurate accounting.

Design and implement process improvements focusing on standardization and simplification.

Identify issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.

Participate in SAP and bank implementations, including UAT, testing, and stabilization.

Ensure adherence to Honeywell accounting policies, HGFC procedures, and relevant GAAP.

Support internal and external audits as required.

Contribute to process improvement reviews and projects.
Skills & Qualifications
Required:
-
Minimum 4+ years of experience in accounting or a related financial field.

Experience with multi-bank operations, bank account reconciliations, and research & investigation of aged items.

Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.

Process-oriented mindset with analytical and problem-solving skills.

Familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and Six Sigma methodologies.
Preferred:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.

Experience in financial reporting and analysis within a large multinational organization.

Proven ability to drive process improvements and standardization initiatives.
