Position Overview:

As a Finance Operations Intern you will play an active role in our continued success by supporting a range of FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) activities while also taking ownership of your own project-based initiatives. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial planning and analysis within a global hospitality leader.

Responsibilities:

  • Working with the FP&A team to analyze financial performance across 950+ hotels, turning data into insights that drive key business decisions.
  • Assisting in the preparation of management reports for senior leadership, ensuring clear and accurate financial storytelling.
  • Supporting the forecasting and budgeting process for our hotels, helping to shape financial strategies and performance expectations.
  • Collaborating with key business functions, including Operations, Commercial, and F&B, to provide financial insights that enhance efficiency and profitability.
  • Ensuring hotels remain compliant with Hilton’s accounting policies and US Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements, maintaining financial integrity across the region.

Skills:

  • Experience working in multicultural environments, demonstrating respect for diversity and inclusion.
  • Ability to understand financial performance metrics and identify opportunities for business process improvements.
  • Proficient in English (speaking, reading, and writing), with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Exceptionally organized, able to prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Accuracy in handling financial data and ensuring precision in reports and business processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance or a Business-related field, completed within the last 12 months.
  • Must be available to commit to a full-time, 12-month graduate internship starting on 14th July 2025 (40 hours per week).
  • Fluent in English (speaking, reading, and writing).
  • Currently living in the UAE and eligible to work full-time.
  • Strong interest in the hospitality industry, particularly in financial performance improvement and business process efficiency.
  • Prior experience working in a multicultural environment.
