Financial Controller

Position Overview:

We’re looking for a Financial Controller in Dubai to deliver best-in-class controls, accounting, and reporting across Middle East businesses while driving improvements in processing efficiency. The role holder will be required to lead the central accounting team and be responsible (jointly with the Financial, Planning, and analysis Manager) for the on-time delivery and management of the financial reporting requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Expertise in maintaining robust financial policies, controls, and ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and internal audit requirements.

• Strong ability to manage and develop finance teams across multiple regions, ensuring consistency and high performance in accounting, payroll, tax, and treasury functions.

• Proficiency in leading financial close processes, including balance sheet reconciliations, financial control checklists, and timely statutory filings.

• Experience in managing cash flow, foreign exchange, working capital improvements, and treasury-related tasks to optimize financial performance.

• Ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, tax authorities, and third-party advisors, while addressing audit issues and ensuring compliance with global standards.

Skills:

• Ensuring strong financial policies, internal controls, and compliance with statutory regulations and audit requirements.

• Managing and developing finance teams across multiple regions, ensuring consistency in accounting, payroll, tax, and treasury functions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree in Finance or equivalent qualifications, i.e. CPA, ACCA, ICAS
• Minimum 7 years of experience in related field
• Holding a managerial supervisory role for the last 3 years
• Availability to travel as and when required
• Office based job and requires light physical effort
