Finance Controller

Position Overview:

Finance Controller encompasses overseeing financial performance through reporting and analysis, advising the procurement team on purchasing costs, collaborating with the sales team to maintain margins aligned with business plans, managing warehouse inventory, ensuring comprehensive statutory compliance, conducting regular reviews with the Operations team, addressing variances vis-à-vis the budget with corrective actions, and ensuring adherence to financial, statutory requirements and audit processes.

Responsibilities:

• Timely preparation of monthly management accounts as per Group requirements- Daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly.
• Closure of books of accounts, reconciliation of bank, debtor, creditor, and stock.
• Preparation of Yearly budget.
• Receivable and payable management.
• Fund management and preparation of cash flow.
• Currency management.
• Control over cost against budget.

Skills:

• Analytical abilities
• Hedging and Fx Strategies
• Risk management.
• Understanding of highly dynamic prices of products like Cashews and Cocao from various procurement hubs.
• Understanding of end-to-end cost and margins.

Qualifications:

• The candidate should complete the CA
• 8-10 years of experience in all.
• UAE experience is mandatory; candidates from the agri-commodity industry will be preferred
