Position Overview
Tech Data, a TD SYNNEX Company, is looking for a PTP Specialist (Purchase-to-Pay) to join our APJ TD SYNNEX Data team. The role involves driving financial operations and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of the Purchase-to-Pay (PTP) processes across front and back-office organizations. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in financial operations, strong analytical skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced, multinational environment.
Key Responsibilities

Drive and provide financial support in the Purchase-to-Pay (PTP) processes for APJ TD SYNNEX Data’s front and back-office organizations.

Collect, validate, and post invoices and credit memos issued during the PTP process.

Reconcile Goods Received (GR) and Invoice Received (IR) accounts.

Reconcile vendor accounts and request and validate missing documentation.

Collaborate with vendors to resolve queries identified during the PTP process.

Validate and post documents received daily from vendors.

Reconcile and ensure the posting of documents generated during the month/quarter; resolve General Ledger discrepancies and GR/IR queries during close activities.

Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) daily in coordination with country teams.

Maintain and update the vendor master database.

Participate in system enhancement testing and process improvement initiatives.

Collaborate with finance and purchasing departments across APJ subsidiaries.

Ensure timely completion of SLAs and KPIs.

Reconcile and manage vendor debt payments efficiently.
Skills & Qualifications
-
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

Experience: 3–5 years in a similar role, preferably in a shared services environment.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Basic understanding of finance and accounting principles.

Knowledge of SAP is an added advantage.

Over 1 year of experience in sales, marketing, or finance departments is a plus.

Strong service orientation with the ability to manage customer expectations.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Proactive, flexible, and organized with the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
