Responsibilities:

• Execute assigned tasks and activities with high efficiency and quality following the company rules, regulations, policies and/or instructions.
• You will be supporting and interacting with business to provide accounting support during month end/quarter end closing.
• Review and approve journal entries and account reconciliations to ensure transactions are recorded in conformance with SFRGs, Siemens International Chart of Accounts and adequate internal controls are in place as per RIC requirements.
• You will monitor ledger account reconciliations prepared by business/legal entity and follows up and clears anomalies identified
• You will provide monthly accounting governance and closing activities for the allocated area and alignment critical topics with Accounting Hub.
• Ensure accuracy of books and record by analyzing and reviewing financial statements as well as balance sheet review process and provide remediation and solution.
• Responsible for resolving reporting and closing queries and develop controls to avoid repeated issues.
• Supporting countries in data cleansing and data migration activities in our new P58 SAP System.
• Perform month end closing and reporting tasks (SAP,ESPRIT, ADSTAR etc.). Execute closing programs and reports using SAP/Runbook (automated closing and reporting process).
• Support preparation of local statutory financial statements.
• Support quarterly and yearly external audit process by providing timely information and resolve queries from auditor

Qualifications:

• B.Com qualified Chartered Accountant or equivalent qualification from reputable institution
• SAP knowledge and experience in FICO and COPA modules; ESPRIT and ADSTAR reporting tools
• Proven track record of relevant experience in public and non-public
