Position Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented US Accounting Executive to manage financial records, support billing processes, and ensure compliance with U.S. accounting standards and taxation requirements. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and maintaining accurate accounting documentation to support effective decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable
  • Manage Monthly & Quarterly Billing and Payment Posting

  • Track ageing status and ensure timely collections

  • Communicate with clients to collect revenue via Fax, Call, Email, and Mail

  • Perform daily and weekly follow-ups as per client requirements

  • Resolve discrepancies and clear ageing balances effectively

  • Work with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Waveapps, Fathom, MYOB, Xero, and Tally

Accounts Payable
  • Track vendor invoices and monitor ageing status

  • Manage payroll processes

  • Review aged pending invoices and investigate root causes

  • Perform quality checks on invoices as per approved process

  • Reconcile vendor statements and address vendor queries

  • Track company liabilities and ensure timely payment clearance

  • Prepare quarterly individual profitability reports for U.S. entities

  • Reconcile Income Ledger and Expense Ledger Accounts

Taxation & Reporting
  • Maintain knowledge of U.S. taxes (Federal, State, and Unemployment Tax)

  • Prepare Monthly P&L and Balance Sheet

  • Ensure timely tax calculations and payments

  • Support internal and statutory audits

  • Monitor cost control and department-wise monthly expenses

  • Submit Daily, Weekly, and Monthly MIS reports to Management

Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of accounting software such as QuickBooks and Bill.com

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in US Accounting and Taxation

  • Any finance-related certification will be an added advantage

  • Flexibility to work in US Shift (Night Shift)
