Finance Analyst

Position Overview

The Finance Analyst at ABB plays a vital role in supporting Accounts Receivable and General Accounting activities to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.

In this role, you’ll contribute to precise financial reporting, data analysis, and adherence to accounting standards, all while driving continuous improvement in financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general accounting activities, applying techniques and standards for classifying and recording financial transactions.

• Manage and analyze Record to Report (R2R) data to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

• Execute quality checks on financial data, including fluctuation analysis and reconciliation.

• Ensure Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICoFR) compliance within the General Accounting team, and participate in control testing and documentation.

• Support Accounts Receivable and Credit operations per ABB’s financial policies.

• Assist with data gathering, entry, and financial analysis to maintain integrity in financial statements.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in finance processes.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or MBA in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.

• 5 to 8 years of experience in Record to Report (R2R), SAP, and General Ledger Accounting.

• Advanced knowledge of SAP in financial domains.

• Strong proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office tools.

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
