Position Overview:

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately enter and maintain financial transactions and data into accounting software.
  • Assist in reconciling bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable to ensure accuracy.
  • Manage and organize financial records, invoices, and receipts for easy retrieval and auditing purposes.
  • Contribute to the preparation of financial reports, statements, and summaries as required.
  • Monitor and track company expenses, ensuring adherence to budgetary guidelines.
  • Collaborate in providing necessary documentation and support during internal and external audits.
  • Conduct basic financial analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Interact with team members and vendors to address financial queries and maintain positive relationships.

Skills:

  • Proficient in using Tally for accounting, financial management, and maintaining accurate records of transactions.
  • Skilled in utilizing Zoho Books for cloud-based accounting, invoicing, and financial reporting.
  • Comprehensive understanding of GST compliance, filing, and reconciliation processes.
  • Expertise in Excel for data analysis, financial modeling, and creating detailed reports using advanced formulas and functions.
  • Strong ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights for decision-making.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with teams, presenting financial information, and liaising with stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 0-1 year of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
  •  Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
  •  Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
  •  Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  •  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
